Alkylnaphthalene AN23 [Lubricating oil modification stabilizer]
Lubricating oil modifier/stabilizer alkylnaphthalene AN23 (recommended additive amount 5-10%)
Multifunctional all-purpose additive with no additive disadvantages.
Easy to use for motorcycles and light and compact cars 180ml
400ml easy to use for engines with around 4L of oil
A set of two 400ml units for differentials, transmissions, and engine oil.
[Application]
As an oxidation, heat, stabilizer, oiliness agent, and FM agent for various lubricating oils.
Also, for prevention of oil leakage from old cars, and for prevention of seal thinning of PAO base oil.
As an oiliness agent: 1-2%.
As a stabilizer ~10% (5% recommended)
Add to oil.
[Features]
It prevents oxidation and hydrolysis of oil, and also has the effect of strengthening the oil film and improving lubrication performance.
It also chemically adsorbs to metal surfaces like ester oil, so it is useful for protection during dry starts.
It can be used not only for engine gear oil, but also for chain oil, compressor oil, heavy machinery, and industrial machinery to simplify maintenance.
Since it is expected to extend the life of lubricating oil, it is recommended for machines that use expensive oil, want to reduce the frequency of oil changes, or want to prolong the feeling after oil changes.
Recommended when your favorite oil is too soft in summer or when you want to prevent heat sagging.
Adding to lubricating oil improves the oil's resistance to thermal oxidation!
Adsorbs to metal surfaces like an ester and improves lubricity!
Improves starting performance in cold weather by lowering the flow point temperature!
High viscosity index makes it resistant to heat sagging.
Excellent compatibility dissolves and disperses additives and contaminants.
Prevents hydrolysis of ester oils.
It is a multifunctional additive with the effect of helping other additives work.
It is equivalent to engine oil 50 and gear oil 90 in terms of the SAE viscosity standard, and is easy to use for both engines and transmissions.
Thermal oxidation stabilization function
In a thermal oxidation stability test, the addition of 15% AN15 to mineral oil improved antioxidant performance by approximately 1.5 times.
Antioxidant performance is more than doubled when used in combination with antioxidants. (It greatly increases the effectiveness of antioxidants originally formulated in the oil.)
Other synthetic oils and ester PAOs hardly improve antioxidant performance when added to mineral oil.
Viscosity data
193cSt@40°C
19.6cSt@100°C
Viscosity index: 118
Specific gravity: 0.875 g/cm^3
Class 4 Flammable Liquids
If the viscosity of AN is lower than the specified oil viscosity, it is recommended to add it to oil harder than the specified viscosity.
*Although it is smaller than ester oil, it has a swelling effect on packing, etc.
*Adding a large amount of 15% or more may upset the balance of additives originally contained in the oil.
If you want to add a large amount of base oil-based additives to your engine oil, we recommend that you use a DI package to balance the amount of additives.
For gear oil, ZnDTP, WS2, and IF-WS2 are recommended.
