Lubricating oil modifier/stabilizer alkylnaphthalene AN15 (recommended addition 5-10%)

Easy to use for motorcycles and light cars 180ml

400ml easy to use for engines with around 4L of oil

Value-priced 400ml x 2 sets for differentials, transmissions, and engine oil

[Applications]

As an oxidation, heat, stabilizer, oiliness agent, and FM agent for various lubricating oils.
Also, for prevention of oil leakage from old cars, and for prevention of seal thinning of PAO base oil.

As an oiliness agent: 1-2%.
As a stabilizer ~10% (5% recommended)
Add to oil.

[Features]

Adding it to lubricating oil improves the oil's resistance to thermal oxidation!

Adsorbs to metal surfaces like an ester to improve lubricity!

Improved starting performance in cold weather by lowering the flow point temperature!

High viscosity index makes it resistant to heat sagging.

Excellent compatibility dissolves and disperses additives and contaminants.

Prevents hydrolysis of ester oils.

It is a multifunctional additive that also helps other additives work better.

It is equivalent to engine oil 40 and gear oil 90 in terms of the SAE viscosity standard, and is easy to use for both engines and transmissions.

 [Thermal oxidation stabilization function]

In a thermal oxidation stability test, the addition of 15% AN15 to pure mineral oil improved antioxidant performance by approximately 1.5 times.

Antioxidant performance is more than doubled when AN15 is used in combination with antioxidants. (It greatly increases the effectiveness of antioxidants originally formulated in the oil.)

Other synthetic oils and ester PAOs hardly improve antioxidant performance when added to mineral oil.

[Viscosity data]

114cSt@40°C

13.5cSt@100°C

Viscosity index 110

Both AN5 and AN15 are mainly effective in stabilizing oil.

The softer AN has stronger chemical adsorption to the metal surface, and the frictional resistance of AN5 is lower due to its softer viscosity, so it is more important for response such as light turning.

AN15 is slightly harder and has a viscosity index of 110, so it can be used as a small viscosity index improver or to strengthen the oil film and compression since it can easily maintain its viscosity at high temperatures.

If the viscosity of AN is lower than the specified oil viscosity, it is recommended to add it to the oil harder than the specified viscosity.

*Although it is smaller than ester oil, it has a swelling effect on gaskets, etc.

*Adding a large amount of 15% or more may upset the balance of additives originally contained in the product.
